Origin & Evolution
Founded in 1976, Rosemont Enterprises began researching and editing the official papers of a former U.S. president. Next we became a desktop publisher, producing camera-ready copies for scholarly historical journals to reduce publication costs. Later we turned to editing, designing, and publishing book-length monographs, editions, and compilations for a regional historical society.

Transition to Digital Education
In 1996, we developed the first 100% online U.S. history survey course in the electronic campus of the 9-state Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) region, from Texas to Virginia. Over the next 25 years, we continued creating and publishing online content for use in college history courses, an effort that culminated in a complete 100% online history B.A. degree accredited program, the first in the state of Georgia. For over two decades we have advocated and demonstrated the use and application of digital media and tools for historical practice, presentation, analysis, and research.
Present Day
Initiated and refined in Alabama and Tennessee, formerly located in Virginia and Georgia, Rosemont Enterprises, LLC is a non-profit, cooperative historical research and publishing agency, with current headquarters in Colorado.
